Philadelphia wins its summit with Brooklyn and the Lakers needs two extensions

New York: The Philadelphia 76ers beat Brooklyn Nets when they beat them 124-108 on Saturday in the NBA, boosting their lead in the Eastern Province, while the defending champions Los Angeles Lakers protested to extend twice to beat the Detroit Pistons 135-129.

Philadelphia owes its victory to Cameroonian star Joel Embed, scoring 33 points with nine rebounds, Tobias Harris added 21 points with 12 rebounds, and Australian Ben Simmons 16 points with 12 rebounds and eight assists.

Philadelphia, who regained his balance after losing at home Thursday to the Portland Trail Blazers 105-121, achieved his seventeenth victory in 24 games so far, thanks to the collective performance of his players, as seven players surpassed the ten-point barrier.

Substitutes Shaik Milton and Turki Furkan Korkmaz scored 15 and 13 points respectively, and Danny Green and Seth Curry, Stephen’s brother, the Golden State star and Werees, added 11 points.
