European Union Foreign Minister Josep Borrell announced, on Tuesday, that he will propose to the leaders of the bloc to impose sanctions on Russia, after Moscow rejected his attempts to seek cooperation during his recent official visit to the Russian capital.
Borrell said in a speech to the European Parliament in Brussels: “Member states will have to decide the next step that may include sanctions, and I will present concrete proposals.”
