Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic led his team, Milan, to victory over Crotone (4-0), in the meeting that brought them together on Sunday evening, in the 21st round of the Italian Football League.
Zlatan “Ibra” scored two successive goals for the “Rossoneri” owners in the two minutes (30 and 64), while his fellow Croatian striker Ante Rebic ensured in the two minutes (69 and 70) of the match that took place at the “Giuseppe Meazza” stadium on the outskirts of San Siro in Milan.
Veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic (39 years) raised his score after this double, to 14 goals in the current season for “Calcio”, and shares second place in the league’s top scorer ranking with the Belgian, Romelu Lukaku, Inter Milan striker.
While the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo (36 years) is the top scorer in the league with 16 goals, and his team has a postponed match against Napoli.
Milan raised its score after this victory to 49 points, and thus regained the top of the league by two points from its arch-rival Inter Milan.
On the other hand, Croton lost its balance and remained at the bottom of the standings with only 12 points.
