The new US President, Joe Biden, announced that his administration will not cancel the sanctions imposed on Iran by the previous administration, before the Islamic Republic stops uranium enrichment.
“No,” Biden said, in an interview with the American “CBS” channel, today, Sunday, in response to a question about whether his administration intends to lift sanctions against Iran to bring it back to the negotiating table.
Biden stressed, in response to a subsequent question, that the Iranian government should, first of all, stop uranium enrichment.
