The Russian police of the Kuban region ended the investigation of the criminal case against a woman from the city of Armavir who was married to elderly retirees, then sold their properties and took their money.
The retired husbands died after a short period of time. This was reported on the website of the local administration of the Russian Interior Ministry.
According to a statement published by the administration, the 53-year-old woman entrusted her daughters with searching for unmarried elderly men. To marry them most of the time.
As for her daughters, they gained the trust of men to persuade them to make donations, bequests, or agencies to sell their properties in the form of plots of land, homes and apartments in the Russian cities of Armavir, Krasnodar and Sochi. At other times, they are relatives and have the right to inherit.
They were helped by another 57-year-old real estate salesperson.
The total damage to citizens amounted to more than 21.7 million rubles. The investigation has established the defendants’ involvement in about 12 criminal crimes committed between 2013 and 2019, which resulted in the death of 11 men.
The criminal file against the defendants was directed to the local court.
