Among them is Arab .. “FIFA” approves 4 candidates for the presidency of the Confederation of African Football

FIFA has approved the approval of four candidates for the presidency of the Confederation of African Football, to succeed the Malagasy Ahmed Ahmed, who left the post due to corruption cases.

After undergoing additional checks, the FIFA Review Committee gave the green light to Yehia’s son and South African Patrice Mutseppe, to join Senegalese Augustine Senghor and Ivory Coast Anoma.

The elections are scheduled to be held on March 12th in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

Ould Yahya wrote on his Twitter account: “I am glad to announce the approval of my candidacy for the presidency of CAF and the position of FIFA Vice President by the FIFA Monitoring Committee.”

The African Union Governance Committee announced on January 6 that the nomination of the Mauritanian and South Africa needed additional study.

Malagasy President Ahmed Ahmed was excluded from applying for a second term after being suspended by FIFA for five years from all football activities due to corruption cases on November 23, despite his appeal against the decision to the Sports Arbitration Court (CAS).
