On Monday, the Serbian Minister of Interior announced the arrest of the director of a prestigious College of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade on suspicion of rape and sexual harassment of at least 5 of his students.
The police suspect Miroslav Alexic, 68, a college director and teacher of performing arts, in “rape and sexual harassment” against at least 5 girls, including two minors, between 2012 and 2020.
The police also sought testimony from other potential victims.
This arrest comes after information revealed by actress Milena Radulovic (25 years) to the “BLIC” newspaper, and said in an interview that she was raped several times by the suspect when she was seventeen years old.
“We all think that these things happen in other countries, but here they are happening with us. It is our responsibility to fight to protect the victims and punish those responsible,” Interior Minister Alexander Fulin told the Pink TV channel.
