Saudi Crescent disassociates its association with the Syrian Omar Khirbin

The Saudi football club Al Hilal announced, on Thursday, that it has officially disengaged from the former Syrian international player Omar Kharbin.

“Al-Zaeem” said in a tweet on his Twitter account, “Thank you Omar.”

Press reports revealed that the club’s management has dismissed the Syrian striker, as the technical staff led by Romanian Razvan Lucescu believes that the team does not need to extend his contract, and he does not want to keep him in the team after entering the free period of his contract that allows him to transfer to any team without returning to Hilal, according to To France Press.

Reports linked the fate of Khirbin, 26, to offers from various local and Gulf clubs.

Khirbin, along with Al Hilal, won the Saudi League title three times, seasons 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and 2019-2020, the cup competition once, 2017, the AFC Champions League in 2019, and the Saudi Super Cup 2018.
