Finally, responding to the distress of the Moroccan child who lives in the snow

In a remote village in the Azilal region in central Morocco, a child made a plea in which he pleaded for help and the residents of the region besieged by the snow, so a charitable organization answered the call and hurried to offer a helping hand.

And the child Abdel Salam, a resident of the village of Ait Abbas, which is located between the junction of the Middle Atlas Mountains and the High Atlas, posted a video clip on Facebook.

In the video, Abd al-Salam demanded the provision of heavy clothes and shoes, so that the population could face the harsh cold and snow, which reached a thickness of more than 80 cm in the mountainous regions of Morocco.

Although this video met with great interaction by many associations and parties that wish to help, and was reposted widely on social media, the bad weather and the continuing state of emergency due to the Corona pandemic prevented the child’s call from being met.

However, recently, the non-governmental charitable organization “Ataa” (ATAA) managed to send a truck loaded with ten tons of food, clothes and shoes to the affected people.

In the next few days, the association’s team will go, as stated on its Facebook page, to many isolated areas in the mountains to alleviate the suffering of the population with the harsh conditions they live in.
