Denise Van Outen announces she’s getting married to her long term partner

Denise Van Outen has revealed her plans to marry her partner Eddie Boxshall after lockdown ends.

The star makes her debut on the rink for the new series of Dancing on Ice next Sunday (17 January), and she’s looking forward to tying the knot with her trader boyfriend as soon as friends and family can celebrate with them.

The couple, who appear on Celebrity Gogglebox together, have been together for seven years – with Denise’s daughter Betsy keen for her mum to wed.

“After this dreadful lockdown ends, there will be wedding bells,” she told Hello magazine.

Betsy is desperate for us to get married. She tells us that all the time. We want to do it, too, surrounded by all our family and friends.”

Denise has also admitted that taking part in Dancing on Ice has really impressed Betsy, especially as the family have been living with professional ice skater Matt Evers in their home as part of their bubble.

“We’ve kept our bubble very small, we’ve stuck to all the rules,” she explained. “It just made sense for us, we’ve got the space here for him to live with us, Eddie gets on great with him, Betsy loves him being in the house with us.

“First lockdown it was just us. She thinks that’s quite exciting, telling her school friends we’ve got one of the Dancing On Ice pros living in the house, and I’ve been spoilt because between Eddie and Matt, they’ve been cooking for me, so I’ve loved it.”
