Beirut – (East):
The Corona Measures Follow-up Committee in Lebanon recommended a complete lockdown for 7 days with a round-the-clock curfew, to cope with the sharp rise in Corona cases.
The committee also recommended that citizens be given a period of 48 to 72 hours to supply the supplies, demanding that Beirut International Airport be closed for a period of 7 days, but the committee recommended that members of the army, the Red Cross and doctors be excluded from the closure decisions.
It is decided that these recommendations will be submitted to the Supreme Council of Defense in the country, for a decision.
