Britain, France and Germany are urging Iran to stop violating the nuclear deal

London – (Reuters):

Britain, France and Germany expressed, in a joint statement, “deep concern” that Iran would enrich uranium to a purity of 20 percent, which was announced on January 4.

On Wednesday, the three countries said, “We strongly urge Iran to stop enriching uranium at a purity rate of up to 20 percent without delay.”

On Monday, the Iranian government announced that it had resumed uranium enrichment to a purity of 20 percent, in violation of the 2015 nuclear agreement with major powers.
