Danielle Armstrong has managed to lose an incredible three stones since giving birth in the summer.
The Only Way Is Essex star welcomed baby Orla seven months ago with fiancé Tommy Edney. Now, after weeks of hard work, Danielle is back in her size 10 jeans.
The reality favourite said she “feels like herself again” as she showed fans on Instagram how much her body has changed since giving birth.
She is nearly down to what she was before falling pregnant in 2019.
Danielle wrote: “The Female Body Is Incredible. After gaining four stone in my pregnancy I really wanted to show women how your body looks after having a baby as for some women like myself it’s not as easy to snap back in to your post-pregnancy clothes.
“Six months of following this plan I’ve lost 3 stone, back in my size 10 jeans and feeling happy. Of course I love being a mummy but it’s also important to feel like ME again.” [sic]
Danielle, who recently flaunted her post-baby body in a crop top, revealed how she felt “alone and frightened” before giving birth after being ten days overdue during the summer.
Worryingly, baby Orla had to be rushed to an incubator before being reunited with Danielle over an hour after.
Speaking to new! magazine, Danielle opened up about the trauma.
“Well, it wasn’t great. I was ten days overdue and they decided to induce me on the Sunday and I went into the hospital at 2pm,” she said.
“I didn’t realise there are three types of ways you can be induced.
“The first one was a hormone, which was a bit like a tampon and it’s supposed to bring on contractions. And nothing was happening.
“Usually your partner can be with you, but due to the situation with Covid everything changed, so I was on a ward with other ladies.
“I didn’t have any contractions, so they kept me in overnight.
“Then they tried a pessary gel and that did bring on stronger contractions, but being on my own it was just horrible.”
