The longtime couple announced they have got engaged on Christmas Eve (December 24), with Loose Women star Stacey joyfully sharing her ring on her Instagram account.
“To the moon and back bub. I have no words,” Solomon wrote.
Joe’s former I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp co-presenter Scarlett Moffatt was among the couple’s friends to congratulate them, writing: “Omg omg omg crying!! You beautiful souls, I’m so happy this is the best news of 2020 xxxx”
Andrea McLean, who recently left Loose Women, joined fellow former Loose Women panellist Vicky Pattison, Maura Higgins, Ashley Banjo, Frankie Bridge and more in sharing their good wishes too.
“Oh my goodness!!!! Huge congratulations Stacey and Joe,” Andrea wrote.
The newly-engaged pair have previously had to deny that they’d secretly tied the knot, but Joe recently hinted that they would marry before too long.
“It will come in time,” he said. “We’ve had so many things we need to deal with, the kids, lockdown – I will get round to it eventually. This has just reminded me. Stacey has the wedding all planned in her head – I’m not going to have a say in any of it.
“Before you know, it will be organised and Stacey will make it beautiful, and I’m fine with her taking it all on. A happy wife means a happy life.”
The couple have shared their life in lockdown with their beautiful blended family all throughout the pandemic, with one of the highlights coming when former X Factor star Stacey gave Joe a glorious makeover.
