Kerry Katona “cried” when she met Sir Rod Stewart.
The 40-year-old singer has always been a huge fan of the ‘Sailing’ hitmaker and although their paths have now crossed a number of times over the years, she still can’t properly hold a conversation with him because she’s so starstruck.
She said: “Kate Moss says she was so starstruck by Frank Sinatra that she fainted when she met him.
“The only person I’ve ever felt that way about is Rod Stewart.
“The very first time I met him, we were doing a charity football match and we were playing against each other.
“I was always a massive Rod fan – I was brought up in the wrong era, I think.
“So when I found out I was going to meet him, I cried. I was like, ‘I can’t do it.’
“I’ve now met him several times and every time I can’t get my words out. He knows my name now, which I still can’t get over.”
Meanwhile, the former Atomic Kitten star – who has five children from three previous relationships – insisted that while her kids occasionally get “embarrassed” by her antics, they’re not bothered by her posing in skimpy garments online.
She wrote in her new! magazine column: “Heidi Klum revealed her children tell her off if she shows too much flesh online. I do OnlyFans so my kids are used to it!
“Before I even had my children, I started off as a glamour model and they all know about that.
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting your flesh out. Be proud and show your lumps and bumps!
“Obviously we don’t all look like Heidi. I wish I did – I’d be walking around naked all the time if I did! But I do understand her children’s reaction.
“As a mother, your kids still get embarrassed by the stuff you do, no matter what.
“But because I’ve always been so open from such a young age, my kids don’t bat an eyelid.
“There’s not much privacy in our house.”
