She’s never been one to hold back, but Miley Cyrus’ honesty landed her in hot water with a certain ex-husband last week, after she got candid about their marriage yet again.
In a series of interviews, the singer said that marrying Liam Hemsworth in 2018 had been “one last attempt to save myself” – arguing that it wasn’t “the fairy tale” everyone made it out to be. She also said there had been “too much conflict” between the pair, and added, “When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone. I don’t get off on drama or fighting.”
Miley, 28, also had a few nice things to say about her ex – who she was with on and off for ten years – saying that she would always love him “very much”.
However, we’re told that Liam – who’s now in a relationship with model Gabriella Brooks – was far from flattered. In fact, he’s reached the end of his tether, and is willing to take drastic action to keep Miley quiet.

Liam released a statement on Instagram, reading, ”Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.
‘This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love.’
