Cheryl has shared her support for former Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding following the news that Sarah is receiving treatment for advanced breast cancer.
In an update yesterday (December 3), Sarah told fans that she was undergoing “tough” chemotherapy after doctors discovered that the cancer had spread to other parts of her body. “I’m fighting as hard as I possibly can and being as brave as I know how,” she said.
Sarah also revealed she plans to release an autobiography after Christmas, and has been working on the project with her mum over the past few months.
In a show of support for her former bandmate, Cheryl shared an image of Sarah’s book, Hear Me Out, on Instagram Stories and encouraged her followers to pre-order the title.
“Well this is going to be an interesting read,” she wrote. “Love you @sarahnicoleharding.”
The autobiography will chart the singer’s life from her childhood through to finding fame on reality show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, as well as her time in Girls Aloud alongside Cheryl, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle, and Kimberley Walsh.
“In September the lovely people at Ebury Publishing asked me if I would be interested in writing a book about my life story,” Sarah announced. “It came at such a good time for me as it’s given me something fun and positive to focus on while I’ve been stuck at home in between trips to the hospital for treatment.
“I’ve nearly finished it now and this week Mum and I have been looking [through] old photos choosing which ones to include. It’ll be out after Christmas and I’m really proud of it. I hope you’ll like it.”
Hear Me Out by Sarah Harding is available for pre-order now and will be released on March 18, 2021.
