Armenia’s Foreign Affairs: The conflict in Karabakh has entered a new phase

37

Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Aevazyan said that his country believes that the conflict in Karabakh has entered a new phase, during which a unified agenda must be formed for the authorities of Yerevan and the authorities of the unrecognized Karabakh Republic.

The Armenian minister pointed out that the statements of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, about the conflict in the region, are conflicting.

On the one hand, he notes that the conflict has been resolved, and on the other hand, he is making provocative statements inciting to the conflict. This may mean that the conflict in Karabakh has taken place, the minister added, during the government’s working hour in parliament today. He has entered a new stage, and a common agenda must be formed for the Armenian parties. ”

“In this context, my visit to Artsakh (the Armenian name for Karabakh) was very important,” Evazian said.
