Pelosi accuses Trump of inciting riots

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said President Donald Trump could be considered an accomplice in the crimes committed during the January 6 storming of the Capitol.

Speaking to MSNBC, Pelosi added, “When we talk about whether any of our colleagues cooperated (during the attack), this has to be verified, we need evidence to prove this. Of course if it turns out that they cooperated, they will be considered to have helped in the crime. The crime was a murder. This President (Trump) helped in the occurrence of these crimes, because he incited rebellion and riot, which became a cause of destruction and death that occurred. ”

On the evening of January 6, a group of Trump supporters stormed the headquarters of Congress during a session to approve the results of the presidential election, which was won by the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden.

And this after a rally in which the current US president renewed his refusal to recognize his opponent’s victory.
