Twitter is restricting access to the Russian Sputnik vaccine account

On Thursday, Twitter restricted access to the official account promoting the Russian vaccine, “Sputnik V”.

The social site showed a warning, saying that “this account is temporarily restricted due to some unusual activity,” but it still allows users to click on the vaccine account page and access it.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund, which manages the account and promotes the vaccine abroad, said in a statement, that they are “studying the reasons for restricting Twitter,” calling on the account’s followers to ask Twitter to cancel the restrictions imposed on the account.
