Saudi aid agency KSrelief has dispatched 21 trucks carrying 23,000 food parcels and 3,464 shelter kits to Sudan to help those in need after the recent flash floods.

The Nile River and Northern states are suffering from severe weather conditions that have caused widespread loss of lives and property.

The Saudi ambassador attended a ceremony at the Sudanese Red Sea port of Suakin, along with representatives of relief organizations and national partners.

The aid is provided as part of the Saudi relief air bridge, operated by KSrelief to assist the Sudanese people.
