Alaba is close to leaving Bayern

Real Madrid, the Spanish champions, is close to signing Bayern Munich and Austria star David Alaba in July, according to Spanish press reports.

The sports newspaper “Marca” reported that Bayern Munich gave its defender the green light to negotiate with other clubs, with only 6 months remaining until the left-handed player’s contract with his club ends.

Renewal negotiations between the European champion and Alaba, 28, reached a dead end, after the player demanded a weekly salary of 200,000 euros.
