Jeffrey Epstein list of names: Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jackson and other unexpected celebrities in the documents

8,838

The aftermath of Jeffrey Epstein’s death continues to unfold as Judge Loretta Preska, overseeing the case following Virginia Giuffre’s 2015 complaint against Ghislaine Maxwell, has unsealed over 900 pages of documents containing information on his alleged associates.

These documents reveal a list of surprising names, sparking renewed interest in the scandal. Yet, the presence of these individuals doesn’t necessarily implicate them in any criminal activities or involvement in Epstein’s abuses.

Among the already known figures linked to Epstein, such as Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton, new names emerge, including former President Donald Trump.

The documents question Johana Sjoberg about her alleged relations or massage services for Trump, but she denies any such involvement.

It’s emphasized that some of these famous personalities may have incidental connections to the case, like shared events or trips, with no evidence of direct involvement in Epstein’s crimes.

Names appearing on the list

The list features a diverse array of individuals from various sectors, including George Lucas, Marvin Minsky, Alan Dershowitz, Michael Jackson, David Copperfield, Pope John Paul II, Oprah Winfrey, Jean Luc Brunel, Leslie Wexner, Tom Pritzker, Bill Richardson, Al Gore and Stephen Hawking, among others. It is crucial to note that these mentions do not imply guilt but rather establish associations with the case.

Sarah Kellen, a former Epstein employee accused by one adult victim of knowingly scheduling her flights and appointments with the financier and Maxwell, was also mentioned.

“It’s people who may have been employed, it’s people who may have gone to dinner or to a cocktail party at Jeffrey Epstein’s home,” said CBS News legal analyst Rikki Klieman.

“It is not necessarily naming people who have engaged in actions that were anything like the deplorable actions of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.”

Epstein, accused of sex crimes, apparently killed himself in a high-security prison in August 2019, while Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 for her involvement in the case and collaboration with Epstein in his illicit activities involving minors.

Clinton and Epstein
Among the names appear in the documents is Bill Clinton, who was allegedly described by Epstein as a “good friend” by an accuser in 2019.

Clinton’s name also appeared on manifests for the private jet, which he said he took four trips on with regards to his work with the Clinton Foundation.

A spokesperson told CBS News that it’s been almost 20 years since Clinton last spoke with Epstein, and denied that Clinton had any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes. The former president has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

He was also mentioned in Sjoberg’s deposition, though she did not accuse him on any wrongdoing. She did state that Epstein told her “one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls.”

Another document also shows that Maxwell testified Clinton never had a meal on Epstein’s island and she doesn’t know how many times he flew on the plane.

Epstein and Trump
As for Trump, a witness said in a deposition that Epstein mentioned calling him and said a group would go to his casino when a storm formed his jet to land in Atlantic City back in 2021.

When asked if she had given Trump a massage, the witness said no.

Newsweek reported that a Trump spokesperson said claims regarding the former president and his relationship with Epstein were “thoroughly debunked.”

In 2018, Trump said he knew Epstein “like everybody in Palm Beach knew him. … He was a fixture in Palm Beach. I had a falling out with him a long time ago. I don’t think I’ve spoken to him for 15 years. I wasn’t a fan.”
