Europe is burning and melting since it was invaded by an unprecedented heat wave

Researchers at the European Commission warned on Monday that about half of the European Union’s territory is currently at risk of drought, while southwestern Europe is suffering from drought due to a severe heat wave, according to the Commission’s Joint Research Centre.
