Jordanian Telecom responds to the news of the Tik Tok application being banned from the country

Today, Tuesday, the Jordan Telecommunications Regulatory Authority announced that it had not received any complaint regarding the blocking of the Tik Tok application.
The authority added, in response to the inquiries of the “Kingdom” website, that the authority had not received any official request to block the application to date.
Note that “the application is working at the moment and is not blocked.” According to the authority.
Earlier, the “Al-Nasr News” website published a publication in which it talked about the details of closing the Tik Tok application in Jordan, where many followers in Arab countries repeatedly demanded the closure of all applications that promote pornography in the Arab world, including the famous Tik Tok application, claiming It violates Islamic law.
A US official has demanded to ban the Tik Tok application through electronic stores that allow users on the pretext of US national security and China’s use of users’ data.
Which caused panic among the followers, and the search terms for the countries in which the application will be closed were topped, the validity of closing Tik Tok in Jordan and the reason for the demand to close it.
