56

Google decided to shut down its popular chatting app Hangouts later this year.
And “Google” confirmed in a statement, yesterday, Monday, that it will start migrating the data of “Hangouts” users to its standalone chat application “Google Chat”, before the application becomes unavailable after next November.

The Hangouts application began notifying its users on smartphones of moving from now to the Google Chat application, or to the chat experience available on the Gmail mail service.
Users of the desktop version of Hangouts will have at least one month to switch to Google Chat, before they are automatically redirected to the Google chat site.
Although it has never enjoyed the popularity of some instant messaging apps, since its launch in 2013, Google Hangouts has had its loyal users.
