51

A strong earthquake rocked Kuwait, in the early hours of Saturday morning, and was felt across the country.

The Kuwait National Seismological Network reported that it recorded an earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale southwest of Ahmadi, at exactly 04:28 am Kuwait time, at a depth of 5 km underground, as many citizens and residents felt across the country.

Twitter users said that they felt the earthquake, as its duration was only 10 seconds. While others posted pictures of minor damage they said was caused by the earthquake.

The General Fire Force announced that its operations department did not record any damage as a result of the earthquake, adding that there were only reports to inquire about the source of the earthquake.
