He suffered from abdominal pain.. Then he discovered the thunderbolt surprise

For two months, Keith Dober, 55, felt pain and discomfort when he went to the toilet, before noticing blood came out.

Keith tells, according to what the English “Liverpool Echo” website says: “Some days, I felt that my stomach was turning, as there were annoying sounds.”

Because of the closure imposed in Britain following the Corona pandemic, Keith did not go to the doctors.

The British man tried to treat the pain with over-the-counter medications, and he thought he was suffering from hemorrhoids, but these treatments did not work to stop the pain.

In the end, he sought the help of a general practitioner, who asked him to perform a colonoscopy, which is done to check for abnormal changes that occur in the large intestine.

And then came the shocking news: It turned out that the man had bowel cancer.

“I doubted it,” he says. “I had that in mind, so I was prepared for the worst half.”

Nevertheless, Keith had a shock that lasted for about half a day, after which he went home and told the family about the difficult matter.

“For two months I’ve been suffering from cancer without knowing what it is,” he said.

The British man underwent a 4-hour surgery to remove part of his intestine, followed by 4 rounds of chemotherapy, after doctors discovered that the cancer had spread more and reached the lymph nodes.

Keith shared his story in Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, which falls each April, to encourage others to be aware of symptoms and seek medical advice if they have any concerns.
