World Bank: Sanctions against Russia will have a significant impact on the global economy

World Bank President David Malpass stressed that the impact of sanctions on global gross domestic product will be more severe than the impact of the situation in Ukraine on this output.

Malpass said in a speech during a conference organized by the American newspaper “Washington Post”: “I think that the sanctions imposed on Russia will have a greater impact on global output than the impact of the situation in Ukraine, which will have an immediate effect.”
