The death of the former Jeddah Union star after entering a coma

This morning, Wednesday, the former Jeddah Al-Ittihad player, Salah Al-Mawlid, died, after a struggle with illness.

In the past few days, the newborn was transferred to the intensive care unit of a hospital, after his health deteriorated, and he fell into a complete coma, after which he was urgently taken to the hospital, before he died today.

Al-Mawlid explained in a previous interview with Okaz newspaper that he suffers from a continuous heart attack, as a result of having a hole in the heart, which increases fluids in his body, and then collects in his stomach, causing him to bloat, followed by other health crises.

The journalist Jamal Aref, who is close to Al Ittihad Jeddah Club, revealed on Wednesday, through his personal account on “Twitter”, the death of Al-Mawlid.

And Aref wrote: “Go to the mercy of God Almighty, Captain Salah Al-Mawlid, the former Al-Ittihad player, may God forgive him and have mercy on him and forgive him and dwell in his vast gardens and inspire his family and relatives patience and solace. We belong to God and to Him we shall return. May God have mercy on you, Abu Bandar.”

Salah Al-Mawlid is considered the most prominent striker for Al-Ittihad Jeddah in the seventies, and contributed with his team to achieving victories and championships.

In recent days, Salah Al-Mawlid suffered from difficult circumstances, before announcing in one of his press interviews, his frequent suffering from heart problems.
