Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the use of the word “partner” towards the United States is “cynical”.

The spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry added that the use of the word “partner” in relation to the United States in recent years has clearly become trolling.
“I think that in recent years the word partner has acquired in our language, when talking about the United States, a meaning referring to irony,” Zakharova continued.
