This was reported by the Chinese newspaper, “South China Morning Post”, noting that this type of huge reptile does not exceed 1,400 dragons worldwide.

The newspaper published a video clip that monitors an aspect of the life of the Komodo dragon, which is found in the Indonesian islands, especially the island of Komodo, adding: “But now it is in danger of extinction.”

The newspaper pointed out that one of the local parks in Indonesia started a breeding program for those reptiles, which are the heaviest reptiles on earth.

The newspaper pointed out that the Komodo dragon was classified as facing extinction last September, due to the consequences of climate change.
