Paul Rudd named the sexiest man of 2021 by People magazine

American actor Paul Rudd, best known for his role in “Ant-Man”, was named People magazine’s sexiest man on Wednesday, joining a list that includes Idris Elba, George Clooney, and Bradley Cooper.

Rudd, 52, who has been in the acting business for nearly 30 years, was apparently surprised by the choice he and his wife made.

“I realize that when people know about this choice, they will say ‘what?’,” he told the magazine.

Commenting on his wife Julia’s reaction, Rudd explained, “It took her by surprise… After some laughter and shock, she said ‘They’re right,’ which is very nice.”

Rood joked that he expects his life to change drastically after taking the annual title.

“I hope to finally be invited to some glam dinner with Clooney, Brad Pitt and B. Jordan,” he continued.

Rudd played the role of the gentle friend of Phoebe, embodied by Lisa Kudrow in the famous series “Friends” (Friends), and then participated in larger roles in comedies before starring in the movie (Ant Man) and then appearing in a series of films, embodying the same character. These include “Captain America: Civil War” (Captain America: Civil War) and “Avengers: Endgame” (Avengers: Endgame).

Last year, the magazine awarded actor Michael B. Jordan was named the sexiest man, while John Legend in 2019 and Idris Elba in 2018.
