A family finds themselves surrounded by heavily armed soldiers in Sweden

Swedish media reported a surprise received by a family during a walk in a forest in the Gotland region in the north of the country.

The Swedish Komps Agency reported that a local family was surprised during their outing in one of the natural areas of a military siege by Swedish army soldiers.

According to the agency, the family entered a military training area to which civilians are prohibited from entering.

In this regard, a family member said, “Within seconds, masked soldiers surrounded our vehicle and pointed firearms at us. The element of surprise was shocking, especially since the gunmen were without evidence that they were members of the Swedish army.”

After checking the caravan and showing the family their identities, the military removed the family from the military exercise area and apologized for what had happened.
