The former Al-Ahly and Egypt national team player, Mohamed Aboutrika, withdrew from the analytical studio of the “BN Sport” sports channel.

Aboutrika’s withdrawal came after the completion of the Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur match in the English Premier League, which was stopped before the end of the first half, after a health crisis occurred for one of the fans in the stands.

The medical staff of Newcastle FC went directly to the stands in order to rescue the fan, with the cardiopulmonary resuscitation device available to each team, while Abu Trika was present in the analytical studio for the two teams’ match, and demanded that the match not be completed.

And the match referee, Andre Mariner, decided to resume the match after checking on the condition of the fan, who was taken to the hospital. Aboutrika decided to leave the analytical studio after learning of the resumption of the match.

Before leaving the analytical studio for the match, Abu Trika said: “Human life has become worthless, I wish not to complete the match, I regretted when I completed in the studio at the time of Eriksen’s case, but I will not repeat the same mistake again and now I will withdraw from the studio.”
