Amanda Stifley, a member of the new board of directors for Newcastle United, revealed the team’s ambition in the transfer market and the highlights of the new management policy.

Stifley made statements to the English newspaper “Daily Mirror”, in which she talked about the club’s new policy and the possibility of contracting with French star Kylian Mbappe, the French star of Paris Saint-Germain.

She stressed the commitment of the new Newcastle management to compete for “world-class players”, and at the same time that the club “will not spend in an irrational way” and will only be interested in recruiting stars that are “brave, enthusiastic and full of energy”.

“You need a big budget in football, but we are not here to be irrational. We have to do a full review, it will take some time, so we will first define our needs in January.”

On the possibility of signing with the Frenchman, Mbappe, she replied, “We are in the market to compete for global players, but we need the infrastructure for these global players. We will reach this level, and we would like to make sure that our stars receive support around them.”

It is noteworthy that Amanda Stifley played a major role in completing the transfer of the English club to the new owners, by playing the role of mediator between the two parties.
