The principal of a Russian school resigns because of belly dancing

The principal of one of the Russian schools of Khabarovsk, where a teacher performed an oriental dance on the occasion of “Knowledge Day”, submitted her resignation, yesterday, Friday, 3 September.
According to the city’s Department of Education, the resignation request has not been approved, and investigations are underway into the incident.

“Decisions will not be taken until after all verification procedures are completed, taking into account the opinions of parents in the school,” it said on the official account of the administration in “Instagram”.

Followers commented on the post by saying: “Let’s leave the teacher alone. She performed a dance and did not kill anyone. This is a mistake. But who among us has not made a mistake in life?”

An oriental dance performed by a teacher in the Russian city of Khabarovsk in front of children on the occasion of the “Knowledge Day” sparked widespread controversy on social media, which caused an investigation into the incident.
