Algerian winner of the Mental Arithmetic World Cup: I performed 500 calculations in 3 minutes

The child, Rahahela Sujud, the world champion in mental arithmetic, said today, Sunday, that during the competition she completed 500 mathematical operations within 3 minutes.

Today, Sunday, An-Nahar newspaper quoted the Algerian champion, Rahahela Sojoud, that crowning the world championship was not easy, especially in light of the participation of 30 countries and 1,000 participants from the world champions, stressing that she expected to win the championship.

Sujoud explained that she was previously crowned as a world champion in Turkey in 2019 with the participation of 19 countries, and she was the runner-up in Taiwan in the same year, and she was also chosen as the smartest participation.

 

 

Rahahleh prostrated that her memorization of the Holy Qur’an at an early age, with its provisions and interpretation, helped her succeed. She thanked her parents, noting that she excels in her studies, and always gets final grades, and hopes to become a doctor.

The 11-year-old, Rahahela Ritaj Sajoud of Algeria, won the World Cup for Mental Arithmetic and Mathematics, which was hosted by Taiwan.

And the Algerian Ministry of Youth and Sports announced on its official page on Facebook, yesterday, Saturday, that the world champion won, with merit, in the international competition that took place in Taiwan.

She added that the competition witnessed the participation of 1,000 talented competitors from different countries of the world, including Japan, China and the United States of America.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports congratulated the brilliant world champion, who hails from the state of Setif, and wished her more brilliance and success in the upcoming competitions.
