Gold prices witnessed slight gains at the beginning of global trading on Wednesday, August 18, after it suffered losses in the past days, amid a noticeable rise in the price of the US dollar.

And Reuters published a report, in which it said that gold prices rose, after the demand for it strengthened, with its prices hovering near the highest level in two weeks.
