Premier League player arrested over child sexual abuse charges

British media reported today, Tuesday, the arrest of a professional player in the English Premier League by the authorities, due to accusations related to crimes and child molestation.

And the British newspaper, “Daily Mail”, revealed the identity of the player who plays for the English team Everton in the Premier League, the Icelandic Gilfi Sigurdsson, who is 31 years old, and qualified.

According to the newspaper, the player was detained pending an investigation into the issue of sexual harassment of children under the legal age.

The sources also indicated that the authorities found in the house of the accused player tools and things related to sex.

In the same context, the accused’s wife denied all the accusations against him on her Instagram page, but hours later she removed the post.

The English club Everton also announced the suspension of the freezing of the player’s contract until the full truth was revealed.
