The Russian drama Conscience won 3 awards at the Shanghai International Film Festival.

The Russian film, directed by Alexei Kozlov, won awards for “Outstanding Artistic Achievements”, “Best Cinematography” and “Best Screenplay”.
A spokesman for the Russian film project said: “We did not expect to win in the three categories out of the eight categories in which 13 films representing 9 countries competed. It turned out that the issue of conscience, which forms the core of the film, seemed important to the jury and the Chinese audience.”

It is noteworthy that the programs of the “Shanghai” International Film Festival (SIFF), which was established in 1993, included other Russian films, which are “Barracks” directed by Russian Roman Vasyanov, “Dr. Lisa” directed by Russian Oksna Karas, “From the Heart of the Heart” directed by Russian Igor Bagatoria. “The North Wind” directed by the well-known Russian actress and director, Renata Litvinova, “Ichi” directed by Kostasa Marsanna, who represents in Shanghai the Russian Republic of Yakutia.
