Chinese freight trains make 40,000 trips to Europe

Chinese freight trains have become one of the important road transport routes, which travel thousands of kilometers across several countries to reach their last station in European countries, to which they have transported billions of dollars in goods over the past years.

The date of the first freight train journey from China to Europe dates back to 2016, according to a report on Chinese freight trains published by China International Television Network on Sunday.

The network says that the number of freight train trips since June 2016 has so far reached 40,000.

And she continued, “This huge number of freight train trips during that period created a new land transport channel between China and European countries.”

The network pointed out that the total value of the goods transported by Chinese freight trains bound for Europe amounted to about 200 billion US dollars.
