Parma signs Buffon after leaving the club for 20 years

The Italian club Parma announced the return of its former goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, to play in its ranks again, starting from next season.

And the official Parma account on Twitter published a video of Buffon’s introduction, commenting: “He’s back where he belongs, he’s back home.”

It was reported that Buffon signed a contract until June 2023.

Buffon started his football career in Parma and moved to Juventus in July 2001.

Buffon previously won the 1998-99 UEFA Cup, the Italian Cup in the same season, and the 1999 Italian Super Cup with Parma.
