Israel has handed over classified information to the Pentagon about the “evacuation” tower in Gaza

I24NEWS, the Hebrew website, citing Israeli sources, revealed that Israeli security officials handed over, on Tuesday, classified intelligence information to US Defense Department officials about the “Evacuation” tower.
These sources indicated that the classified information “refers to Hamas military activity carried out from the Al-Galaa building in Gaza (which houses the offices of foreign media, including the” Associated Press, “the” Al-Jazeera “network and other media).

While the Israeli Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, made a phone call to his US counterpart, Lloyd Austin, as this is the third call between them in recent days.

Gantz thanked the US Secretary of Defense for the US administration’s support for “Israel’s right to defend themselves, and for the condolences that Austin offered for the killing of Israeli citizens by the shelling of the Palestinian factions.”

Last Saturday, the Israeli army destroyed the Al-Galaa Tower in Gaza City, which housed the offices of many international and local media outlets.

The 11-storey building completely collapsed as a result of bombing by the Israeli Air Force.

According to multiple media reports, the Israeli army issued a prior notice asking the residents of the tower to evacuate it within an hour.

The building contained a number of apartments and offices of various international and local media outlets, including the Al-Jazeera network and the Associated Press, in addition to the offices of lawyers.

Israel had destroyed several towers in Gaza since the beginning of the current military escalation around the Gaza Strip at the beginning of this week.
