A racing car flying straight over a crowd

Russian racer Oleg Lozinski suffered a terrible accident while participating in a car race on the outskirts of the Russian city of St. Petersburg.

Lozinski lost control of the car, crashing into a dirt barrier and flying directly into a crowd watching the race.

“There should have been no people in this place at all,” Lozinski said. “We need to ask the regulators why there are no safety devices along the route.”

“And even after the accident, people continued to stand in the same place,” the Russian contestant added.
