Three cars fell successively into a hole filled with boiling water, which was formed after a water line exploded in the Russian city of St. Petersburg, according to RT.

Social media users shared footage of cars slowly falling into the pit.

The press office of the fuel and energy complex attributed the accident to a technical defect that caused the explosion of the main pipeline, adding that road maintenance operations are in full swing at the present time.
