Goodbye to intruders … good news from Google for owners of “Android” phones

The American company “Google” has offered good news to the owners of “Android” phones, promising them to put an end to the intruders.

Google said, according to what was reported by the specialized technical site, “Engadget,” that it will impose restrictions on the applications on “Android” phones, so that it cannot see the applications that users install on their phones.
Google has amended the rules for using “Android”, which prohibits seeing all other applications on your phone or tablet, to reduce requests for permission to know applications on phones.

These rules will be applied to the applications installed on the device with the operating system “Android 11” and what is newer.

The Google Play Store will consider an attempt to find out the device’s stock of installed applications as “sensitive and confidential personal information”.

Google will only exclude applications that need other applications installed on the device, such as anti-virus programs, file managers, browsers, or search applications on the device, which require the way to work.

This new policy will prevent Google from exploiting user data for bad purposes such as spying or snooping on users for advertising purposes, for example.

This policy will be fully implemented for all Android phone users, starting May 5, 2021.
