The independent game “Heides” caused a surprise Thursday evening during the “BAFTA” celebration for video games, by winning most of the awards, including “Best Game”.

“Heides”, produced by “Supergiant Games” Studios, won the Best Game Award and also won the Best Story, Best Game Design, Best Artistic Execution and Best Supporting Role Award.

The game “Hides” revolves around the world of Greek mythology, where the user plays the character Zagrios, the prince of the underworld, and Hides’ son, who tries to escape from the kingdom of the dead, and carefully chooses the help of a number of gods.

“Supergiant Games” studios tweeted “thanks to the academy for this wonderful honor,” adding: “Thank you to the gods themselves also for their inspiration and without a doubt for lending a helping hand to achieve this achievement.”
