A German farm proposes an alternative solution for those suffering from Corona restrictions

A German farm offered those who feel deprived of human contact due to coronavirus restrictions an unusual alternative and offered them the opportunity to hug its sheep.
“We have wonderful sheep here and they are very happy if visitors come to us,” said Lexa Voss, who runs an educational program on a farm near Hattingen, western Germany.

She added, “I allow people to visit sheep without supervision and spend quality time with them in nature and away from any masks or social distancing.”

Visitors must agree on the dates of the interviews, so that they can approach the furry sheep as they like, and while the visits are free, the farm asks for donations from the visitors.

“Now we are avoiding approaching each other. There is always some distance between us,” said one of the farm visitors, Teres Fever.

She added, “To be honest, I always walked past the sheep farms that were grazing away … and here it is completely different … This is wonderful.”
