Selena Gomez announces the end of her career

American singer Selena Gomez revealed, during an interview with the American “Vogue” magazine, that she wants to end her artistic career.

Gomez, 28, indicated that she was considering moving away from the artistic field to not take it seriously.

“It’s hard to keep doing this when you’re not taken seriously. Sometimes I think what’s the point? Why am I still working as a singer?”

Gomez added: “Many people love my music and I am grateful for that, and because of that I continue to sing, but I think that the next album will be completely different,” noting that her new album will be her last attempt to change her style before retiring.

She explained that she wanted to spend more time in production and give herself a real chance in acting.
